Bianca has won several awards for her work as a correspondent and producer. This year, she won a Green Media Visionary Award from the Chicago chapter of Keep America Beautiful, a nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness about the environment through education and community outreach. Last year, she won a Chicago/Midwest EMMY for "Outstanding On-Camera Performance" for her role as contributing correspondent on Soul of Green on Fox/WFLD. Bianca was nominated again for the same award this year. Soul of Green is a news show about entrepreneurs on the front lines of the green movement that aired as a stand-alone segment on EMMY award winning Next TV produced by The Chicago Urban League. Along with her husband and partner Michael, Bianca also won a Health Journalism Award in the multimedia category for a daunting story on food deserts in Chicago and the growing urban organic farming solution.
